Snowdon Mountain Railway

If hiking your way up Snowdon doesn’t appeal, we’ve got some very good news for you. The Snowdon Mountain Railway will take you from the foothills of the mountain to the peak, passing by some of the most incredible scenery along the way. This isn’t a new development either, as trains have been making this journey since the late 19th century, although tourists now outnumber workers. It isn’t the cheapest option but there is a lot to be said for it, especially if you’re hoping to expose your kids to the magic of Mount Snowdon.
