Probably the most popular supermarket across the board with locals and expats alike. Lidl have invested a lot in Bulgaria and it shows. Bright stores and friendly staff. The quality vs pricing is excellent and you will find everything you need for your weekly shop here, even if lacking in some of the more exotic or unusual products. Keep a look out for their weekly promotions, and don't forget to stock up on the cheddar cheese or halloumi when it comes round. Their own brands of dairy are top quality, the vegetable selection always fresh and the freshly baked bread and pastries are irresistable. A regular family favourite.
