There used to be a time when the area around Lions Bridge was a bit shady and we really had no reason to recommend anyone hang out there. With the recent makeover things much improved and the opening of Cafe 1920 is the icing on the cake. A very light and airy cafe with great views across Lions Bridge and up to the railway station - the menu of the cafe is geared towards breakfast and brunch making it the perfect location to start your day. On the menu you will find  so many choices for breakfast both regional Bulgarian options as well international offerings such as American pancakes with bacon and ice cream or French toast using only quality local ingredients. If you've been waiting for a great breakfast location with tasty comfort food, friendly service and a hip interior with great views where you can watch the city come to life - look no further. The large interior easily accommodates larger groups of friends for early evening drinks and there are always freshly baked sweet treats to enjoy with your coffee. Vegans might find the menu a bit limiting but the lovely ambience compensates and hopefully there will be a few more vegan options eventually on the menu.
