The Wits Chris Seabrooke Music Hall is the only purpose-built live music hall with a modern acoustic design in Johannesburg. It was launched as part of the university's centenary celebrations in 2022. The building is sandwiched between the Wits Theatre Complex and the Wits Art Museum and adds to the spectrum of cultural experiences available at the university and in Braamfontein. The foyer is a heritage building, and the new hall has been built on a piece of ground where Joburg's first gold miners lived.
