Bilbao is located between seven hills and one of the best viewing points in the city is from Mount Artxanda. An ancient red cable car, the 'funi', in barely 3 minutes (tip: you should ride in the first car) reaches the top and provides superb views overlooking Bilbao, the river and the surrounding mountains. On a clear day, you can even see the Atlantic Ocean to one side.
