Plaza Mayor is located right in the heart of the old historical Hapsburg Madrid. The square is probably most recognizable for the statue of Philip III, but you can also see other interesting things around, including the 16th century Casa de la Panadería, Arco de Cuchilleros, and other picturesque buildings.
