The Derzhavin Institute is a great place to throw yourself into the romance of Russian culture. Situated in two historical buildings (one of the 18th century, another of the 19th), the school has a beautiful setting. The classrooms are with high-ceilings and large windows. There is also a library, computer room with free internet access and a common room that is available for students from 9 am till 9 pm.
The school offers a variety of courses: Standard course, Business Russian, Russian for Tourism industry and Literature courses. Expats can benefit from special prices and offers for morning, evening group classes and individual tuition. Classes are kept small with maximum of 10 students during the high season from June to August. The staff speak many different languages and have experience in teaching at both Russian universities and abroad.
