I'm Thankful for Today caters for those of us who are less than early risers, serving breakfast until 9pm. With a large central table, it has a communal feel, given warmth by chandeliers and plants. It's popular both for socialising and working. The atmosphere is relaxed, and studious in a light-hearted way – a chalkboard high on one wall jauntily proclaims “Let's study English together!”, going on to detail the Russian-English translations of such vital phrases as “Free Love”, “Juicy”, and “Sex For Tips” (NB: this is not a service they offer!) Portions aren't enormous but are tasty and well-presented. The smoothies are particularly good.
