Democratic prices and a democratic atmosphere – that’s Salute Bar in a nutshell. The food menu is limited to a few starters (various interesting interpretations of pates and tar-tars as well as more traditional olives), two soups and about half a dozen hearty mains (duck breast with potato and kvass or beef medallions with smoked prune cream to name a few). The wine card is quite decent and the price per bottle varies between 1,600Rbl and 2,400Rbl but the real star is the cocktail menu full of imaginative signature numbers. Exposed brick walls opposite colorfully painted walls, furniture with a funky 1970’s house party tang and fun tunes make Salute a great place to kick back and relax with friends without breaking the bank.
