Stadtkeller

The Stadtkeller in the heart of the old town stages a Swiss folklore show from April through October. In the rustical surroundings you can enjoy surprisingly good Swiss cuisine (cheese and meat fondue in all variations - and try their very own Stadtkeller beer!) to a show presenting various Swiss traditions such as yodelling, Swiss Alpine horn blowing and flag spinning. The show also has an interactive element where members of the audience are invited up on stage to try out the various customs. Few Swiss people practice these traditions these days, but the show is nonetheless good fun and relaxed. Over the winter months the Stadtkeller hosts a season of rock and pop concerts featuring local and international artists.
