Sui Hing Hong

Owned by one of the oldest families in First Chinatown, this fantastic old Chinese supermarket sells everything from fireworks and crockery to freshly-made tofu and condiments. Head here for hard to find Chinese ingredients like miso paste and Sichuan peppercorns, Chinese traditional sweets like mooncakes, as well as an excellent selection of loose leaf teas which include chrysanthemum and jasmine teas. Also worth popping in if you feel like some old-fashioned sweets such as dates and walnut jelly.
