An oasis of calm, the Altstadt is a really nice spot for recharging your batteries on a walk through the old town. Be it with coffee and gipfeli (croissant) in the morning or maybe some antipasti and a glass of wine in the afternoon. It’s also a good place for some reading, be it that book you’re carrying around or some browsing through your guidebook to see what could be next on your visiting schedule.
