Babette has had new owners since 2018, but luckily, not much has changed here. They still celebrate old-school French style with posters of French comic hero Tintin on the walls, small wooden bistro tables and a menu written on a blackboard making it a truly charming place to visit in the Wiedikon district. They serve delicious crêpes and galettes, both sweet and savoury, and we adored the galette with brie cheese and grape jam. For lunch they also serve ever-changing menus and in the evening you can expect locally sourced main courses. Recommended not just for food, it’s a relaxing place for a coffee break, too. On the weekend breakfast is served until 15:00.
