Gotischer Saal - Haus zum Rüden

Dining in the Gothic room on the first floor of this distinct old guild house on Limmatquai transports you back in time. It's extremely spacious with stone walls and the hardwood ceiling is a feast for the eyes. But have no fear as it's not only your eyes can feast, but your other senses, too. The classic Swiss and French cuisine features beef and duck as well as fish, which was exquisite, but be prepared to part with some of your cash. Leave room for excellent desserts or go all the way and order the six-course tasting menu (140Sfr), dessert included. It also has a bistro-style bar on the ground floor with an outdoor area and a simpler menu.
