The leather-clad easy chairs, the heavy curtains and the dark wooden floor at Hato all create an atmosphere of genuine luxury. Chef Nathan Dalimore's intriguing menu is distinctly Asian, so start with some of the excellent sushi on offer or one of the five different dim sum (Asian dumplings) options. The mains are prepared on a charcoal grill, so choose either fish or meat, like the Korean-style lamb, or move on to stir-fry and tempura dishes. It's a rather exclusive experience and certainly not cheap, but definitely worth the money if you appreciate Asian cuisine in refined surroundings.
