Local alternative webradio station GDS.FM now has its own bar. Although it has brought the electronic sounds of Zurich's nightlife subculture to the airwaves since 2013, in the spring of 2017 it began to broadcast the DJ sets from its Sender bar. On Thursdays you can often find a live band and DJs spin their records on Fridays and Saturdays. The bar is small and dark and even the disco ball behind the bar is painted black, but that doesn't prevent people from shaking their booties here late at night. The adequately lit concrete construction of the ceiling and the space photography on the wall make for an uncommon, yet appropriate atmosphere. A small outdoor area is available until 22:00.
