Established in 2011 by Andrzej Haus, this lovely winery is located just 30mins from Tarnów in Janowice. With south-facing slopes offering scenic views over the hills and mountains beyond, the winery borders a large forest to the north, with the picturesque Dunajec river, and the neighbouring Janowice and Gierowa wineries all within walking distance. Overall, it can be said that Uroczysko in one of the most beautifully-situated vineyards in the region, and makes a great base for further exploration. They are also distinguished by their 'old school' cultivation method, which involves planting each vine on a separate stake, and their range of wines boast strikingly-designed labels based on Slavic mythology - like their 'Perun' dry red wine made from Regent, Cabernet Cantor and Cabernet Cortis grapes. Tastings and tours are available, events are frequently organised, and guests can stay overnight in their wooden 2-bedroom chalet, enjoying the covered terrace, garden, barbecue area, fire pit and smokehouse.
