Even if Nauka means science in Russian - this cafe/bar has more to do with skateboarding than with anything else. Located between the skate park and 'dry bridge', Nauka is a brand new venue, concept-wise as much as anything else. Frequented by young skaters Nauka is by far the most relaxed hangout in Tbilisi. If you can tolerate the almost constant sound of rolling skateboards on an improvised park right outside, you are welcome during the day. But evenings feel more like someone threw a very spontaneous party. The music is always loud. Occasionally quite outstanding local DJs and artists play live. Serves some cheap snacks and drinks.
