Rike Park

  N. Jordania Emb.     more than a year ago
This is the newest public recreation area in Tbilisi, popular with families, especially in summer. It sits on the left bank of Mtkvari river, under the gaze of the Presidential Palace. It is easy to access from the Old City via the glass and steel pedestrian Peace Bridge, or on the other side of the river, by descending the stairs from Avlabari. A newly opened cable car station takes people up to Narikala Fortress. During summer evenings, a music and light show accompanies a choreographed fountain display.

I love Tbilisi and moved here six months ago. I created on online scavenger hunt here allowing people to get a self-guided tour that is part history and part hunt. The name is Huntforhistory.com and has 3 different hunts in Tbilisi. I am adding more. Thanks
