The Pucci, Gucci and Ferragamo stores

Florence was the birthplace of three iconic brands that all have stores along the Via de' Tornabuoni. Aside from being a fashion brand, Pucci is one of Florence's oldest noble families. The multifaceted Pucci brand designs everything from their trademark tight shantung pants, silk jersey dresses and blouses, to ceramics and menswear. All characterized by kaleidoscopic retro colors and prints that never go out of style. Gucci is a powerhouse of Italian design and craftsmanship. Under the current direction of Alessandro Michele, the brand is staying true to its equestrian roots, while combining it with the effortless glamour of its timeless prints. Visit the store during its opening hours or schedule an appointment on their website for a personalized shopping experience. If you just can't get enough Gucci, the historic Palazzo della Mercanzia has just the thing for you. Located in Piazza della Signoria, it houses the Gucci Museum, displaying some of the brand's most iconic fashion paired with the occasional art installation, the Gucci Garden and the Gucci Osteria, for fashionable wining and dining. Although it has branched out into designing handbags, ready-to-wear and menswear, Ferragamo's staple creations are still their shoes, characterized by their understated elegance and their seamless blending of art and fashion. Fashion lovers can visit the Ferragamo Museum that chronicles the life and mind of Shoemaker to the Stars, Salvatore Ferragamo himself.

Although Pucci is one of the oldest families in Florence the title was bought only in the 17th century and therefor they are not one of the oldest noble families.
