Located on a quaint square just off of Old Riga’s main drinking artery, Audēju iela, The Thirsty Bulldog offers everything a sports lover and dedicated imbiber could ever want from loads of TV screens showing Premiership matches and even NFL games to an excellent selection of beers from around the globe. Although a full menu isn't currently available, tasty pub snacks like wings, fries and mozzarella sticks can be had (try the friends’ platter for a bit of everything). The interior is an ode to wood and nearly everything inside from the long bar and high tables to the lovingly restored ceiling beams are a testament to local craftsmanship. When sunshine returns to the Latvian capital the cobblestones outside are covered by a lively terrace. The Bulldog also offers some of the best toilets we've ever seen at a sports bar.
