A one-time disgraceful mess of illegal buildings, rubbish and shady dealings, the 'youth park' is now the proud focus of among other things the evening xhiro, when thousands of locals dress up and stroll around, meeting up with friends. The spidery white building that looks like it could be the lair of a James Bond villain is an entertainment complex called Taiwan, and houses restaurants, a café and a casino. The main attraction however is the fountain, which in the evening fascinates hundreds of young and old onlookers with its modest light show.
