Tirana's zip line, crossing the beautiful Erzen river valley near Petrelë castle, is also one of Europe's longest, at 1250 metres long. Zippers can expect to reach speeds of up to 100km/hr, depending on their weight and the wind, floating over trees, houses and the river. Visitors can optionally use a shuttle from the lower station to the take-off platform. It's a good idea to book ahead in summer and on weekends, and it's easy to combine a zip with a trip to the castle and the Fustanella Farm restaurant just down the road.
