The tree that has seen it all. Located in a small village called Bančić (9km from Ljubinje), the Zeleni Dub (Green Oak) is an evergreen oak that doesn’t reproduce but always survives, a natural curiosity that is just as miraculous as it sounds. Legend has it that Saint Sava himself stopped for a rest in the shade of its branches, and if its good enough for Sava then its good enough for us.
