A delightful expanse of green that lies behind the lakes, Šetalište Slana Banja affords the visitor the opportunity to take a breather from the excitement of the city and ponder the past. Walks will do that to you. The park is home to the Kuća Plamena Mira, along with a number of monuments paying respect to those lost in the wars of the 20th century. The park is also where the victims of the Kapija Massacre are buried. That might seem like a lot of heavy stuff, but one must not forget that remembrance must always be accompanied by the optimism of a better future.
