Kyiv Days

Time
Every dog has its day and every Ukrainian city has one too. This year, Kyiv Day will be celebrated on May 27. However, one day is never enough for local party animals and festivities unofficially kick-off with drinks at the pub or in the park on Friday night, pick up speed Saturday and officially culminate with concerts and fireworks on Sunday.
Each district puts on its own show, but most of the action takes place in centre. Khreschatyk, Maidan Nezalezhnosti, and European Square will host a variety of music and cultural performances featuring some of Ukraine’s most renowned entertainers. You’re never more than a few steps from your next refreshing beverage. This is a fantastic time for beer lovers as local breweries and vendors set up fuelling stations along Khreschatyk and throughout other venues. Traditional street grub is always plentiful and will probably be your best bet as seating in restaurants and cafés can be difficult to come by.
Artists from all over the country will converge on Kyiv to display their crafts presenting a fantastic opportunity to find that one-of-a-kind souvenir.
Whatever you do and wherever you go Kyiv Day is sure to top your trip list of unforgettable memories.
