Located in an underground passage, and just recently opened, the “Gorilla” was a pleasant surprise. Why it’s called Gorilla, no one knows, it really is an authentic Italian restaurant as the chef comes from Naples. The menu is in English with an average meal costing 250Hr. We tried the Milanese cutlet for 115Hr. which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was great and communication no problem. There is business lunch weekdays from 12:00-17:00 for just 47Hr.The restaurant holds 90 & with a VIP room 30 which is ideal for private functions. Yet it’s more than a restaurant. Famous rock groups & stars of the 60’s & 70’s cover the walls. There is a stage where rock bands perform Thursday through Saturday from 19:00-22:00. Gorilla is also known for karaoke. Sunday is free for all; Monday-Wednesday, girls are free until 24:00 and guys pay 100Hr; Thursday, Friday & Saturday it’s 150 for all.
