A two-storied annex to the Vydubychi Monastery welcomes you to a singular fusion of museum and restaurant. Show cabinets, scattered around the restaurant hall, glisten with golden and bronze antiques, ancient ceramics and a collection of Cossack’s tobacco-pipes. Restaurant-wise this unique institution boasts a menu of hoary Ukrainian viands. Be assured that every dish is blessed - you are on the grounds of a monastery, remember? Try varenukha, a strong liquor made of dry fruits and honey with spices, as a starter and then savour a whole variety of traditional Ukrainian dishes.
