Tampopo

Tampopo is arguably the classiest Japanese restaurant in the city, and attracts politicians, pop stars, comedians and other local celebrities. A VIP room is available for up to eight. The summer terrace is located around back in a secluded courtyard. The original cuisine, prepared by an Asian master chef, is vibrant and aromatic. Smoked eel, black cod, oriental pikeperch, veal ribs with kus kus in truffle oil and oriental recipe lamb with shiitakes are but a few of the highlights. On the sushi side of the menu, the flying fish caviar, a handsome selection of hand rolls and the colourful assortments are all alluring. Mini-catering is available.
