Located right in the heart of the city within the Kvartal shopping centre, V Spa is more than merely a spa. The sprawling complex boasts day spa facilities offering a wide range of rejuvenating and relaxing treatments, such as massages and various exotic therapeutic options. Naturally, the Water World - with all of its various family-friendly pools, jet pools, hot tubs, a Turkish hammam, and a swim-up pool bar - is a huge draw, as are the separate, speciality Salt World and Sauna World zones. The Salt World offers a dreamy floating Dead Sea salt pool, a salt stone sauna, and a self-service salt scrub sauna. Meanwhile, the Sauna World offers a brilliant variety of options, including a traditional Russian Banya, a honey sauna, a fragrant juniper sauna, and an icy cold water dipping pool. If one is lucky, the sauna master will be on-site to beat guests down with birch branches as well. The experience is so thoroughly enjoyable that it was hard to leave when the team last visited.
