Situated at one of the city’s former gates and just across the road from one of the few remaining sections of the old city wall, this excellent budget option is now part of the City Hotels group, and offers bright, colourful rooms, all of which are en suite. There’s free wireless internet throughout and at the time of writing an in-house Belgian restaurant, the menu of which includes mussels. A splendid location right on the edge of Old Town and within easy walking distance of the bus and train stations.
