The brainchild of a pair of local philanthropists who’d been dreaming of sharing their private collection of Lithuanian art with the public for over a decade before finally realising their vision in October 2018, inside find many works dating from the 1960s onwards and a constantly changing series of temporary exhibtions. The large white building that houses them was designed by none other than the internationally acclaimed architect Daniel Libeskind.
