I have been coming to this pizza place Uzupio Pizzeria, for long time, but lately the place went cheap. They are not using good quality toppings anymore. Cheese is like glue without any taste and chewy , like rubber. Yes they put a lot of cheese , but the taste is horrible. Parma ham it is also the cheap version, which is not good . The place it is underheated, it is cold now outside, but when you seat inside and waiting for slow service to serve your order, it is not nice, my feet got ice cold in that place. I am saying all this things, because pizza in this joint, is expansive for the local reality and they should not cheat on the toppings quality. For 2 pizzas I payed 100 Lita, which is way to expensive for the crapp they are serving! :

Living nearby I used to pop in very often when I moved to Vilnius. Not any longer. In summer it is full of wannabes with their dogs (new status symbol in Vilnius) which is very annoying. Pizzas are relatively ok fire wood or not for Vilnius. But it is not cheap at all if compare to D'Antonio by the cathedral for example (just talking pizza now). The rest of the menu is plainly awful (one day they do not have this the next they do not have that too much salt too much dressing etc) and the service is average for Vilnius (which means bad). The problem is that the standard for food in Vilnius is quite bad.

Service is amusing indeed - the tomatoes and cucumbers promised by the waitress to come with cod and rice looked exactly like one small leaf of lettuce and a piece of lemon!

I disagree with the review too.it would be nice to mention that it is almost the only place in Vilnius who cook with real fire wood, as a lot of people like the specific taste it give, I do, and considering that the quality of pizzas making in Vilnius is just awfully bad, even if not super great, i will put the Pizza there in the very good ones in Vilnius.Also, it ia at least a place with some atmosphere, i personnaly hate the big chain food as Cili etc...so a amll place like that will always have my favor.

I wholeheartedly disagree with this review. Ok, the service is average for Vilnius - not the best but definitely not the worst. The pizza is better than Cili, that's for sure. But the best thing about Uzupio picerija are the omelets. Particularly good after a long night out, my brother and I used to crawl across the street nearly every weekend to get them. Go there for breakfast if nothing else!
