A few places in the surroundings of Maribor have wineries that are open for wine tastings and trips, but it is Vinska Klet Brigadir that succeeds in fitting in a whole restaurant within their wine cellar. Situated outside the vineyard on a hill north of the city centre, this is a family friendly place with a relaxed atmosphere. For meals, they offer a series of no-nonsense traditional Slovenian cuisine to accompany their extensive selection of locally produced wine.
