Another example of the curious stećci tombstones that UNESCO deemed worth of its World Heritage list, the Lađevine Stećci still manage to stand out from the rest. These are seriously hefty tombstones, in an idyllic location in the hills above Rogatica, creating a plaintive setting and then some. The inscriptions are also plenty curious.
