The mysterious stećci of the region are a valued part of the UNESCO World Heritage list, and the Luburića Polje area is home to its own collection of fascinating tombstones. Head to the village of Košutica to find them, before heading down the gravel road until the field opens up in front of you. Many of the inscriptions on the tombstones are open to interpretation, so do have fun making up your own stories.
