You've probably driven past the curvaceous landmark blue glass building on the corner of Rivonia Road, diagonally across from Sandton City, without knowing that housed on the top floor is one of Joburg's well-kept secrets – an amazing cooking studio with a rooftop terrace that offers awe-inspring tree views of Joburg. It's also a space that presents the opportunity to learn cooking techniques and explore the cuisine of cultures across the globe.
The state-of-the-art kitchen studio here can host 22 people cooking at the same time, and if you are keen on a venue for hire – the dining area can seat 48 people, or 70 people standing if cocktails are the order of the day.
We love the idea of the food-focused team-building sessions, where you can learn to cook new dishes, or skip straight ahead to eating food created by the Studio's top chefs.
This is a place for food inspiration – with the freshest ingredients, a fully-equipped kitchen, knowledgeable chefs and nutritionists. The courses on offer range from gourmet cuisine and global menus to braai masterclasses and even a cooking class for kids. There are also a number of focused date night options to get that kitchen chemistry to work.
