Wales Millennium Centre

Opened in 2004, the Wales Millennium Centre was built using slate, metal, wood and glass from around the country, making it a truly ‘Welsh’ building in an architectural and design sense. The words of Gwyneth Lewis are inscribed on the front, in both Welsh and English, doffing the proverbial cap at the history of the nation and its current state of affairs.
