Yerevan

Children's Railway

130 Dzorapi Street     more than a year ago
Something a little bit different. One of many such railways built during the Soviet years, Yerevan’s Children’s Railway is one of the few remaining examples of socialist tourism that has survived the transition to capitalism. The station is home to three curious stations that are worth checking out, and the railway offers a unique way of exploring Yerevan. Tickets are incredibly inexpensive, and the train runs frequently throughout summer.
