At the Scala, it’s really about the pizzas! They definitely are among the best we've had in Zurich. A truly crispy dough, a tomato sauce that actually tastes of fresh tomatoes and high-quality ingredients do the trick. And while purists may complain that they are not wood-fired here, judging the result you just can't complain. The host is very friendly, service fast and the atmosphere no-nonsense old school and plain. Leave the city centre behind for an evening and pay this everyday restaurant a visit.
