The hot springs in Schinznach-Bad were discovered in the 17th century - today’s thermal baths offer you the advantages of the naturally hot and mineralized water in more modern surroundings. The indoor pool is connected to the outdoor area, where you can drift on the artificial current in a circular pool. The water temperature is 36°C, so the outdoor pool is very pleasant in autumn and winter too. There is a whirlpool, massage jets, a waterfall for your neck and an inhalation room. To get there take a train to Brugg (dep. at 06 and 36 past the hour) from Zurich main station. In Brugg change to the S-train N°29. Duration of the journey: around 40 minutes plus a ten-minute walk.
