Bird is another company that operates free-floating electric scooters in Zurich and its concept is similar to others. Download its app and register your phone number and credit card and then the app's map will show you where the next Bird scooter is located. You can unlock it by scanning the QR-code on the scooter. Unlocking costs 1Sfr, then it's 0.35Sfr per minute. The scooters are fun to ride and you can accelerate with your right thumb and brake with your other hand. Wearing a helmet is recommended and you're obliged to drive on the street. You're not permitted to use sidewalks. When you're finished, simply park it (without blocking sidewalks) and complete the ride in the app.
