Zurich’s own little mountain Uetliberg is a great destination for an outing and also the place for a view over the city and towards the mountains. And right on top, there is the Uto Kulm restaurant for all the thirsty and hungry trippers. The atmosphere is rather classy, and stylish waiters serve you a mix of international and Swiss cuisine, anything from US-steaks to zürcher geschnetzeltes and fondue is on the menu. And yes, it’s tasty usually. Despite the classy atmosphere, we didn’t feel out of place wearing a rain jacket and hiking shoes here.
