Bucharest Sights: Museums, art galleries, historical buildings etc.
That history has not been kind to Romania is in fact the visitor's luck. Few other cities in Europe have seen as much trouble as
Bucharest in recent years, and if it's bullet holes you are after, you have come to the right place (
Piata Revolutiei, to be precise).
But there is also a panoply of excellent
Bucharest museums,
art galleries and not a few
oddities in Bucharest.

The naked truth is:- overpriced one day tours. By at least 20% more compared to any other decent tour operator- mediocre tour guides....Palatul Parlamentului
the palace of parlament is one of the bigest buildings i ever seen in my life and trust me they was a lot, inside is sensational everything is so huge i cant wait to go there again so if u want to se something really beautiful go and see the PALACE OF PARLAMENT....Palatul Parlamentului

Do note that, except for the lapidarium and treasury room, the permanent exhibition of the museum is closed indefinitely (undergoing major restoration works, which - given the lack of money - take longer than usual)....Titan/Alexandru Ion Cuza Park
I'm a tourist from Thailand and had chances to visit Bucharest twice in 2008 and 2009. The place where I stayed was only five minutes walk from Titan Park....Jewish History Museum
Time to take down this warning about IDs. It may have been accurate during the communist era (many tourism venues in Romania used to require ID) but it is definitely not the case now....Palatul Parlamentului
This is the must-see place to visit in Bucharest - prepare to be wowed! Please note the entrance to the Palace is on the RIGHT looking at the front of the building (not the left as in the guide, which led us to walk all the way around it in 35 deg heat for 45 minutes!)....
