This hotel is lovely, especially on an early summer's morning with the window open onto the silent courtyard gardens. You can lie in bed and listen to the birds sing or something romantic like that. The bathrooms are luxurious, the room is tastefully decorated and the service is generally good. The restaurant there in 2007 was quite good, and if the weather cooperated, an evening dinner in the courtyard was a peaceful ending to a long day of touring the city. (Not particularly cheap, but was a real treat.) The restaurant may have changed themes or chef's or something, so things may have changed on the dining front since last summer. Despite that, the Grotthuss is definitely a treat and highly recommended.
