Den Bosch is generously strewn with interesting museums. Unfortunately most of them are spread widely throughout the city centre. In an attempt to obtain synergy advantages, the city council thought up a plan (a long time ago) to move one of the city's museums from their current location (Paleiskwartier) to the monumental inner gardens of the Noordbrabants Museum. With this move, the biggest museum in the city will expand considerably. This should all be completed by the end of 2012.Both museums will continue independently, however, visitors shall be able to visits both museums with a single ticket in the Museumkwartier, since they will be physically connected. The total moving and expansion costs have already reached more than 45 million euro and will doubtlessly rise further yet.
