Porto Antico

share
The Porto Antico was, as its name suggests, originally the old port and now an extensive modern waterfront area After a series of major facelifts and a helping hand from internationally renowned Genoese architect, Renzo Piano, it’s now home to many of the city’s major attractions. When you’ve done the Aquarium, the submarine and the galleon… when the kids have tired themselves out at Città dei bambini and the Luzzatti Museum… and when you’ve admired the city from the panoramic Bigo, it’s still a great place for eating, browsing, strolling or just chilling out under the palm trees and soaking up the sun and atmosphere. Often host to cultural, culinary and political events there is always something going on making it a favourite place for tourists and locals alike. A great place to let the kids run around in a safe pedestrian environment.
