Oristano

Santa Giusta

share

The rather dishevelled appearance of the existing town, which merges into a single built-up area with Oristano, doesn’t do justice to the city whose origins hark back to the 8th century BC when it was founded as a Phoenician colony named Othoca. Santa Giusta is also worth visiting for its stunning Romanesque Cathedral and indulging in a leisurely stroll along the salt-water basin named after it which is nesting ground for the mallard, coot, little grebe and grey heron.
