Banja Luka’s airport is located 20km northeast of the city and it remains relatively quiet, although that is about to change. Ryanair has recently started serving the city from a number of European destinations, with many more to be added in the coming years. The airport itself is small and functional, with a cafe and information desk for anyone after coffee or answers. The city puts on shuttle buses that arrive at the airport in time for arriving flights, with a ride to the centre of town costing 10KM or €5, with the driver accepting both currencies.
