Now in its 10th year, the Wine Fair is a relatively new event at Belgrade Fair, featuring one of the fastest growing sectors in Serbia - wine production and distribution. Wine tourism is also promoted intensively at the Wine Fair, which takes place concurrently with the International Tourism Fair, a testament to the increasing importance of wine to the wider tourism industry. The most prominent local and regional wine manufacturers, wine cellars, wine companies and distributors take part, and compete for several awards, including Best Local Wine, Best Wine at the Wine Fair and a Sommelier Competition. There are also auction-style wine sales, and many tastings are organised at the exhibitors’ stands daily.
